DEADLINE for sign-up and paying is Sunday, July 9th at Noon. There is an additional $25.00 charge for late signups! The next orientation meeting will be held at MPCC on Sunday, June 26th, after the second service. We encourage you to buy a T-shirt for the trip. It helps us spot and identify our volunteers while we are out in the field and it lets the locals know who you are. We encourage you to buy one if your finances can handle, at $7.50 each, however it is not required. Click Here to Order T-Shirts. T-shirts are distributed at the Friday meeting (05/02) at 8 pm, at The Casa. The Casa is a new place we have found that is perfect for our group. We can hold up to 75 people here at this one site if ever need be. To see a virtual tour, click here. We are still using 708E at The Sonoran Spa for additional lodging needs.

Rocky Point Projects for July 11-13, 2008
This is the house across the street from Maria’s home. This mother has three children: 10 yr. old, 5 yr. old, and the 9 month old. The 10 year old was in school during this picture. This is a double Amor home and it needs wiring, insulation, and drywall.
In order to acquire electricity, it is necessary to excavate a utility ditch dug from here to the house: approximately 60 feet. This will then need the conduit laid, the wiring run and the ditch filled in.
We can also paint the house while we are all on the job. We should have different color paint for the eaves, the window, and door the trim.
Below is Marta’s home that needs to be trimmed and cleaned up. There are some very rough areas that should be attended to. This will require more experienced workers to trim this out.
This is a job next to grandma’s house. Jim had other volunteers add this room to the house, but this was beyond their expertise. Jim would like us to enclose the room, cut out for a door to the main house, insulate, and drywall.
It would only take a couple sheets of plywood to enclose the room.
Jim does not wanted anything done on this wall except close it in. This would take a couple of workers with a modicum of construction experience. Approximate Cost
