ROCKY POINT PROJECTS 2008-2009

  • Continue Support and develop the Women’s Shelter.
  • Finish Home for Director of Women and Mens Shelters.
  • Children’s clinic — securing or building a facility that serves children.
  • School building repairs, fence repair, and provision of student materials.
  • Equipment for Physical Therapy Clinic.
  • Physical Therapy Clinic remodel.
  • Neighborhood clean up, 9 churches are interested in participating in this model project.
  • Interact and fellowship with our Mexican Brothers and Sisters
  • Re-forestation ministry. City will donate trees to families that clean-up their yards.
  • Volunteers to visit the sick and the handicapped
  • Public bus transportation. Private buses do not serve residents in outlying areas, leading to isolation of families
    and individuals.
  • Public Parks — paint, repair, and planting new trees
  • Build a Meeting room for D.I.F (Department for Infants and Families).
  • Medicine for children and those who cannot afford prescription and over-the-counter medicine.
  • Center for seniors
  • Medical doctors services — general medicine, pediatrics, prostate, gynecology, surgeon, dentistry, etc.
  • Donation of medical offices for volunteers to use for clinics when visiting.
  • Instructors and trainers for Physical Therapy clinic.
  • Roll-off garbage containers for residents to deposit garbage bags.
  • English teaching to Mexicans
  • Spanish teaching to Americans.
  • Evangelizing Americans and Mexicans as brothers and sisters to promote spiritual unity.
  • Bilingual coordinator to coordinate volunteers, projects, and donations; to be hired by D.I.F
  • Every volunteer should recruit a bilingual buddy to share the mission experience with. Two-way
communication with our Mexican brothers and sisters enhances the mission experience for both cultures.

Pray. Volunteer. Donate.
